Ok I know y'all may pay more or less than me for gasoline... the cheapest I can find here is $2.50/gal ($2.499 actually) the petrochemical companies are posting RECORD PROFITS on these inflated gas prices.... Since these fat cat oil company execs have their own company vehicles they don't pay for their fuel out of the1r own pockets...

The high gas prices has forced me to stay local on the Labor Day Weekend (MFM in Memphis this weekend can't go)

I have a job that has given me a 3% raise every year, that is not enough to support my convention schedules...

I was talking to a few friends today, one of the reasons that fuel rates are so high.. we have enough crude oil to cut prices down, we have INACTIVE REFINERIES just sitting there doing nothing that can handle the 'sour' local crude oil to make out petroleum products.. but what are they going to do... raise prices, keep with the Saudi 'sweet' crude oil.. and run as few refineries as they can.. TO BOOST PROFITS..

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO HAVE OUR SAY AGAINST THE OIL COMPANIES??? THEY HAVE US BY OUR THROATS AND THEY ARE SQUEEZING THE LIFE OUT OF OUR ECONOMY.

I will wait for the time when the tanker hijackings to begin... then who is to blame for the desperation of those tired of paying the ARTIFICIALLY INFLATED gasoline rates?
